Financial Administrator/PA Required

We are looking to appoint a Financial Administrator/Personal Assistant, on a part-time basis to join our busy auction house team based in Newcastle.

The role will cover:

  • Welcoming clients both personally and over the phone to maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Securing and recording of sale instructions to ensure that all parties are kept informed of sale status
  • Assisting with the preparation of inventories, catalogues and other promotional material in relation to auction house sales
  • Preparing the necessary sales documentation, including sales invoices, receiving and recording monies from customers and drafting summary financial records of the business

The successful candidate will be computer literate with particular emphasis on the use of Excel, accounting packages and social media. They will also have good organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Knowledge of the auction house business would be an advantage but consideration would be given to all candidates and the appropriate training provided; for further details please click on job description.
